The Queer Nightlife Community Center is widely cited as the first nonprofit venue in New York — and possibly the country — built specifically for and by queer nightlife workers. Conceived around 2021 and co-founded by promoter Seva Granik and Michael Falco, it launched in 2025 in a large East New York warehouse complex, pairing daytime services and training with nighttime music programming.
