Vast Harlem ballroom widely cited as the home of the Lindy Hop and a rare integrated dancefloor of its era.

The Savoy Ballroom was a large Harlem dance hall widely cited as the home of the Lindy Hop and as one of the few prominent integrated dancefloors of its time. It is associated with big-band swing, dance competitions, and house bands. The building was demolished in the late 1950s; the site later held housing.
